About the panelists

Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner has founded the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center (FSBC). In 2018 and in 2019, he was ranked as one of the “top 30” economists by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), a major newspaper in Germany. Further, he belonged to the “Top 40 under 40” — a ranking by the German business magazine Capital. Since 2017, he is member of the FinTech Council of the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany. The expertise of Prof. Sandner includes blockchain technology in general, crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, the digital programmable Euro, tokenization of assets and rights and digital identity. Dirk Röder, economist at heart, digitalizer in spirit - that is a succinct description of his interests, experiences and professional career. Philippe Redaelli is the Managing Director Strategic Initiatives at Kaiko, a leading provider of institutional grade digital assets market data. Prior to joining Kaiko, Philippe was the General Secretary of the Euronext and Deutsche Boerse entities in charge of the European energy exchanges Powernext and EPEX, which he contributed to bring from inception to scale-up with a focus on market infrastructures. Then he most recently developed a DLT-based startup in capital markets as Chief Product Officer. Philippe’s drivers are game-changing products and technologies in financial markets and he has been interested in digital assets since 2017.

Dr. Sven Hildebrandt has a great passion for digital transformation, change management and everything related to corporate development. Working in the finance industry, he is absolutely fascinated of distributed ledger technologies (Blockchain / DAG) and always strives to make things better. Thomas Pecha Thomas Pecha has been working in the financial services industry since 1998. Thomas started his career at Credit Suisse as Vice President, CITO CEE for HU, CZ, PL and AT. In 2003 he became the Owner of GEBO GmbH. In 2008 Thomas became an associate partner at Solution Providers. In 2012 he joined Assentis Technologies AG as director of Austria and in 2014 managing director of Austria at CREALOGIX AG - The Leader for the Digital Bank. Currently, Thomas Pecha is sales director DACH & CEE at METACO, the leading provider of security-critical infrastructure enabling financial institutions to enter the digital asset ecosystem.
