In 2020, only 14% of enterprise blockchain projects managed to move into production, although most of them arrive at the POC development stage. Matthew van Niekerk, the co-founder of startup SettleMint, which aims at simplifying the blockchain journey for enterprises, discusses the reasons and possible solutions to the problem.

About the lecturer

Matthew van Niekerk cofounded SettleMint, intending to simplify the blockchain journey for enterprises. Before SettleMint, Matthew completed an MBA and went to work at KBC – first as an internal management and operations consultant, later as the COO of the Belgian Consumer Finance business, and finally as the Head of Platform Innovation at KBC Securities.
