In 2018 and in 2019, he was ranked as one of the “top 30” economists by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), a major newspaper in Germany. Further, he belonged to the “Top 40 under 40” — a ranking by the German business magazine Capital. Since 2017, he is member of the FinTech Council of the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany. Dr. Johannes Blassl works as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main in the field of banking and capital market law. There, he advises companies and banks, inter alia, on the use of blockchain technology in the financial sector. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr. Johannes Blassl is a lecturer at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden and at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Fulda and Mainz.

Simon Seiter is Head of Digital Assets at Deutsche Börse, where he is in charge of building the digital infrastructure for securities trading on blockchain-based systems. Simon Seiter studied Business Informatics (B. Sc.) and Management (M. Sc.) at the University of Mannheim. Due to his experience in the DLT sector, he is a regular speaker at conferences, universities and gives various lectures. Simon Seiter also participates in various political working groups for creating framework conditions for DLT-systems.

Kurt Zeimers is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and product management of the Asset Manager and Alternative Investors Client Line at BNP Paribas Securities Services in Germany. He is also responsible for the Digital Asset strategy for the German asset manager and asset owner market. He has been working for BNP Paribas Securities Services since 2000 in various roles as project and product manager within the depositary, global custody and fund administration business. Kurt originally started his career as an account manager at Banque Paribas Luxemburg in the Fund Services department.
