Jonas Gross is Chairman of the Digital Euro Association (DEA), co-host of the German podcast "Bitcoin, Fiat, & Rock'n' Roll", and member of the expert panel of the European Blockchain Observatory and Forum. Dr. Joachim Schwerin is Principal Economist in the unit responsible for the Digital Transformation of Industry within the Directorate-General Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission. He is responsible for developing the policy approach of DG GROW towards the Token Economy and Distributed-Ledger Technologies as well as their applications for industry and SMEs. Moreover, he coordinates initiatives to foster the development of digital skills for the European industrial ecosystems. He regularly contributes to policy development in digital policy fields, including the MiCA Regulation, the preparation of the digital Euro and blockchain infrastructures for the real economy, such as for anti-counterfeiting technologies and for the hydrogen value chain.

Alexander Bechtel is Head of Digital Assets & Currencies Strategy at Deutsche Bank (Corporate Bank). He has done a Ph.D. at the University of St.Gallen, where he still holds a position as an external lecturer. Alexander regularly publishes articles, podcasts, and research on monetary policy and digital currencies. He has worked as an external consultant at the European Central Bank and spent a research stay at Stanford University.
