Industry Insights: Democratizing the Art Market – Web3 as a Solution

Speaking of hype, the market for digital art has recently experienced a boost in interest and could eventually mark the beginning of a new era of artwork trading. Institutional providers like misa.art want to support exactly that; the digitalization of the art market by fully covering its spectrum, including direct sales from artists through galleries, NFTs, and fractionalization of art. Furthermore, misa.art aims at demolishing traditional intransparent art prices using machine learning engines to provide instant price validation and justification.

About the lecturers

Ivor Kramer is the CFO of misa.art, a company that offers a carefully curated selection of art from the primary and secondary markets. Before starting his job at misa.art, he worked at several M&A departments at firms such as Deutsche Bahn and BDO AG.
