While this remains to be seen, it is certain that digital asset custody will be an important part of the emerging infrastructure. In the panel, Matthias von Hauff (TEN31 Bank), Simon Seiter (Deutsche Börse), Hany Rashwan (21Shares), Raphael Polansky (Börse Stuttgart / blocknox), and Benjamin Schaub (Frankfurt School Blockchain Center), discuss the future and custody as an "ingredient" for regulated financial organizations.

Simon Seiter is Head of Digital Assets at Deutsche Börse, where he is in charge of building the digital infrastructure for securities trading on blockchain-based systems. Simon Seiter studied Business Informatics (B. Sc.) and Management (M. Sc.) at the University of Mannheim. Due to his experience in the DLT sector, he is a regular speaker at conferences, universities and gives various lectures. Simon Seiter also participates in various political working groups for creating framework conditions for DLT-systems.

Hany Rashwan is the co-founder and CEO of both Amun AG and 21shares. Hany is an Egyptian businessman, entrepreneur, and computer engineer. He is the founder of the crypto company Amun AG. He previously founded social commerce company Ribbon and enterprise fintech company Payout.

Raphael Polanski is a finance and stock market expert with over ten years of experience in strategy, controlling, financial markets and digital assets. He has been Managing Director of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures GmbH since July 1, 2020. Raphael joined Boerse Stuttgart in September 2018, since when he has held various leadership positions in the CEO environment. Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Börse AG. During this time, he also founded a virtual asset trading startup, through which he acquired broad knowledge of digital assets and customer retention.
